Our endorsements:
Every election cycle we carefully consider our endorsements. We start with the list of those who are running as Republicans and take a careful look at their commitment to conservative values of smaller government, less taxes, and fewer regulations. Incumbents give us an extra layer of understanding because we have voting records to see. We know that everyone on our board is not going to agree on any candidate's positions on every issue and we don't have any litmus test on any issue. We're interested in candidates who share the conservative values of SW Washington. Listed here are those we are endorsing this election cycle.
3rd Congressional District Representative - JOHN BRAUN
19th Legislative District - JIM WALSH and JOEL MCENTIRE
20th Legislative District - ED ORCUTT and PETER ABBARNO
Cowlitz County District Court - CHRISTOPHER EASTWOOD
Cowlitz County Commissioner District 3 - RICK DAHL
Coroner - DANA TUCKER
Sheriff - TROY BRIGHTBILL
Be sure your ballot is turned in by Tuesday, November 3rd.
LCRU Board Members were proud to be invited to hear from Speaker Mike Johnson as he traveled to help ensure that John Braun is our next U.S. Representative from the 3rd Congressional District.
We have a great opportunity to return this seat to the Republican Party. Please consider donating to and volunteering for the John Braun campaign.

Important note: because LCRU is not a federally registered PAC, we are not permitted to make monetary donations to this campaign. Our work in this race will be to encourage others to make donations and volunteer.
LCRU is proud to endorse John Braun for Washington's Congressional District 3.
We encourage you to visit his campaign website at votebraun.com to learn what impressed us so much and to donate your time or treasure to help him be successful in 2026.
We believe Mr. Braun is perfectly suited to represent SW Washington in Washington DC. During his years in public service, he has proven that he understands our needs and is willing to fight for them.
Please visit his website to read more about his history in not only public service, but his education, his military background, and his family business.
John Braun - he's a solid Republican who shares our conservative values and we believe you will also be proud to support him.
Some LCRU board members and supporters attended a fundraising breakfast with John Braun.

We love having a booth at the International Festival every year. It's a time for us to meet new people, to interact with lots of kids, and to enjoy the wide variety of international entertainment. We brought our life-size Abe Lincoln again this year.

The International Festival is always one of our favorites events of the year. Again this year, we had a great time exposing people to the Republican party.
